Going into "Day 5"

Due to my long break this is technically only day 5 of actually working on making gold. I am up around 15,000 gold from my initial investment of 100 gold and some glyphs, so things aren't looking that badly right now. I found some great deals on some cardinal rubies, bought 38 of them at 110g/ea, resold for 180-190g each within minutes of listing them, so that was an easy 3k gold. The glyph market on my server is so volatile right now that I am a little sketchy on trying to get back in to it, so I have basically been buying up a lot of the herbs and re-listing for about +10g/stack. Herb stacks selling consistently for 35-40g is pretty crazy (thanks MMO-Champ).

Anyways, bought a ton of Glacial Salmon from a chinese farmer for 6g per stack last night so I am gonna start cooking up some food, have around 1200 or so that need cooked (sounds like a blast, 2 hours of watching a progress bar).

I am back.

I had to take a break from WoW due to some real life things, but I am slowly getting back into the game.

With Ore and Herbs being all messed up on my server I had to find a new niche to turn profit on. What did I find? Buying Fish/Northern Spices and crafting the food. I sell them in stacks of 5 for upwards of 300% profit.

Not bad cooking some fish, throwing them up on some 24 hour auctions, then logging in to about 1500g in your mailbox the next day.

Herb prices continue to go up...

This is getting really old, really fast. Now herb prices are averaging around 25 gold a stack. Deadnettle/Tiger Lily are sitting at about 18g or so a stack.

This slowed business WAY down. Hit the 2k mark yesterday, though.

Herb prices skyrocketed

The cost of Icethorn two days ago was 12-13g... today I log on to find it at 24g: ouch. Bought a few Book of Glyph Mastery today for 100g, bumping me to around 1000g total. Need to figure out what to do about the herb situation before I craft a glyph restock.

Discovered:
Glyph of Holy Shock
Glyph of Explosive Trap
Glyph of Shield of Righteousness

Eww.

End of Day 1

A couple cards sold and quite a few glyphs did. Up to around 805 gold after today. Going to relist the glyphs I have left and go back to bed for a bit,

And it begins!

August 17th is not only my birthday, but also the birthday of my new Glyph AH mule.

Starting Cash: 100g00s00c

I purchased ~300g worth of Icethorn to mill down and create a starting supply for him... I got extremely lucky. Normally I would just sell the Snowfall Inks for 11g each, but I decided to make some Darkmoon Cards (7 of them).

The results:

2x Four of Prisms
1x Ace of Nobles
1x Four of Nobles
1x Six of Nobles
2x Eight of Nobles

Yes! Then I used the Ink of the Seas to create a medium assortment of random glyphs.
